Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026
[bracketed] fields must be completed with jnar's real legal
details and reviewed by a qualified professional before launch.
This Privacy Policy explains how jnar ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit our marketing website at jnar.io (the "Site"). The jnar application at app.jnar.io is governed by its own in-product privacy notice.
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for your personal data is [Legal name / entity], [registered address], [country], [VAT / company or NIF number]. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [privacy@jnar.io].
2. What data we collect
On the marketing Site we keep data collection to a minimum:
- Information you give us — only if you contact us by email (your address and the content of your message).
- Usage data (privacy-friendly analytics) — aggregated, cookieless metrics via Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (e.g. page views, country, device type, anonymized performance timings). No cross-site tracking and no advertising profiles.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) to deliver and secure the Site.
- Fonts — web fonts are self-hosted on our own domain, so no font data (including your IP address) is sent to Google or any other third party.
The Site does not knowingly collect data from children and is intended for researchers and professionals.
3. Why we use it & legal basis
- To operate and secure the Site — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To understand aggregate usage and performance — legitimate interest in improving the Site, using cookieless analytics that don't identify you.
- To respond to your enquiries — to take steps at your request / legitimate interest.
4. Cookies
The marketing Site does not set non-essential or advertising cookies. Because no consent-requiring cookies are used, no consent banner is shown. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
5. Processors & third parties
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and cookieless analytics / speed insights.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or an adequacy framework. [Confirm per provider.]
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, and technical logs for a limited period set by our hosting provider. Aggregated analytics are not tied to an identifiable person.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your data.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
To exercise any right, email [privacy@jnar.io]. We will respond within the timeframes set by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
